Bleed Guides for Press Products
Keep all text and graphics you do not want to trim off at least 1/8th of an inch from each edge. In the Photoshop layer palette, F7, you can switch on/off the bleed guide template. Blue guide lines are also included. If they are not displayed go to Window/Show/Guides. When you are done with your project delete the bleed guide template and flatten your artwork. Soft cover books, inside and out pages, need little attention. More attention should be given to the hard cover books. Therefore, please follow the guidelines for every press printed product.
