Print & Ship Products

Print & Ship is our catchy way of saying ‘no color correction’

Your order arrives at D&M Imaging via ROES or Express Digital, and we forward it to our printers immediately.  We accept no responsibility for the color or the density of the images knowing instead that you have calibrated your monitor to our machines and you’ve adjusted your images for your desired outcome.

Since we calibrate 5-6 times each day, we’re always on the mark. Consistency is our hallmark; you can rely us to always provide you the exact color you’re expecting.

How do you calibrate to our machines? The simplest way to do so is to send us an image. We’ll print an 8×10 test print for you and when you receive it, just adjust your monitor until it matches the print we made. It’s that simple.

One caution: if you’re color correcting on a laptop, you will have variability in your color regardless of where you have your work printed. Each time you open and close your laptop computer you’re changing the way light hits your monitor which means you’re changing the color space it’s reflecting. You simply cannot achieve consistency. We recommend a desk top monitor for color correcting your images.

One rule of thumb: You can count on your images to be about 20% darker than the image you’re seeing on your monitor. Why? Because your monitor is back-lit and your prints are not.
